Dareway's Ride-on scooter has gotten a makeover. Now designed to go 40 percent faster, this "Segway" for kids includes an iPhone/MP3 holder, audio jack connection and speakers, so riders can listen to music as they move around.
Exclusive to Toys R Us, the revamped Dareway still allows riders to spin 360 degrees.

This interactive kit makes playing with action figures a lot more actionable. By strapping on wearable technology — in this case, a piece designed to replicate Iron Man's arm — users can battle against smart action figures, which blast back. Players will feel vibrations from the wearable technology as they shoot and move around.
The starter pack includes the arm piece, 25 missions and two smart figures.

For the youngest kids on your list, Fisher-Price's new interactive play space responds to a baby's touch by playing music and flashing lights.
With three modes — piano play, dance party and learning and games — the toy is designed to stimulate different parts of your baby's brain as he or she grows.
Manufacturer: Sphero
Billed as the must-have toy of the holidays when it debuted in September, the BB-8 robot is activated and controlled via a user's smartphone. The Droid responds to voice commands, but can also set out to explore on its own — making noises and showing expressions based on its encounters.
The BB-8 will be far from the only hit "Star Wars" toy this holiday, with Jedi light sabers, the Millenium Falcon flying spaceship and Yoda dolls also expected to appear on many kids' — and adults' — wish lists.
